This is an easy, quick and truly delicious Thai dish. Crispy tilapia topped with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce.
Ingredients
Deep frying the tilapia
A whole tilapia (1000 g)
150 g tempura flour
1000 ml vegetable oil
For making the sweet chili sauce
3 red spur chilies
3 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp vegetable oil
5 tbsp water
1 tbsp fish sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp oyster sauce
4 tbsp palm sugar
1 tsp sugar
Prepare
Tilapia, cut into 7 small sized pieces.
Garlic and red spur chilies, finely chopped.
PREP TIME : 15 minutes
COOKING TIME :15 minutes

Coat the tilapia in the tempura flour and shake the excess flour from the tilapia. Then Deep fry the tilapia in a wok or a frying pan of hot oil until golden and cooked through. Drain in colander or on kitchen paper.
Heat up the oil in a saucepan, add chili and garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. Now add fish sauce, vinegar, oyster sauce, water, palm sugar, and sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves and sauce is boiling. Then remove from heat.
Place the fried tilapia on a plate, then pour the sweet chili sauce over and garnish with coriander. enjoy!!
