Stir Fried Chicken With Ginger

“Stir-fried chicken with ginger” is considered a healthy dish. Ginger is a herb that helps reduce flatulence and has a pleasant aroma. It is stir-fried together with carrots and onions, which are sweet and crunchy from wood ear mushrooms and bell peppers. You can eat it as an appetizer or as a main dish.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs 250 g

  • Ginger 50 g

  • Onion 50 g

  • Wood ear mushroom 50 g

  • Bell pepper 20 g

  • Carrots 20 g

  • Spring onions 10 g

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • Sugar 1 ½  tsp

  • Light soy sauce 2 tbsp

  • Oyster sauce 2  tbsp

  • Cooking oil 1  tbsp

Prepare

Chicken thighs → bone removed and cut into bite-sized

Ginger → peeled and slice in thin strips

Onion → peeled and sliced

Wood ear mushroom → cut into bite-sized pieces

Bell pepper → stem removed and sliced

Carrots → Peel and cut into small pieces 3 cm long

Spring onions → root removed and cut into pieces 3 cm long

Garlic → peeled and chopped

PREP TIME : 15 minutes

COOKING TIME : 10 minutes

  1. In a large pan over medium heat Add the cooking oil followed by the chopped garlic and fry until the garlic is fragrant and slightly yellow.

  2. Add the chicken thighs and stir until the chicken thighs are cooked. Add light soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar. Stir to combine.

  3. Add sliced carrots, wood ear mushroom, sliced bell peppers and sliced onions. Stir for 1 minute and cook for 3 minutes.

  4. Add sliced ​​ginger and sliced ​​spring onions. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Turn off the heat and you’re done.
